KM Interiors was founded in 2016 by Katie Malone and fueled by her passion for design. We opened a beautiful studio in La Grange in 2022 where collaboration thrives and resources are abundant. We love getting to know you! We strive for great design that evokes emotions for the people inhabiting the space. Whether it be a workplace or personal home, the space should reflect those that use it and inspire them. With projects big and small, we pay close attention to every detail and work hard to make sure the space shines both functionally and aesthetically. And most importantly we have fun doing it!

Principal
Katie has been designing for as long as she can remember. She has a bachelor of Fine arts in Interior Design from Miami University. She worked at a top rated Chicago architecture firm for 10 years as an interior designer and design director. She has 20 years of experience in both commercial and residential interior architecture. She is a NCIDQ certified and LEED ap designer. She recognizes the power of design and wants to help people and companies bring their visions to life. She believes that the most important step of every project is understanding the client - their style & their personality. She is passionate about creating spaces that tell a story and truly reflect the family or company living/working there. She likes to mix styles, textures, found objects, all while keeping a clean & timeless look.
